About Tactical Counseling
Improving individual and community well-being through appropriate care, education, and research.
Tactical Counseling is a Texas-based counseling and professional services practice grounded in one core belief:
Effective care requires clarity, compassion, and systems that actually work in the real world.
We support individuals, professionals, and organizations navigating complex challenges, whether that’s personal mental health, workplace stress and burnout, or the design and evaluation of programs operating in regulated, high-stakes environments.
Our work lives at the intersection of clinical care, education, and systems design, allowing us to address both individual needs and broader structural challenges.
Our Approach
Tactical Counseling was founded to bridge gaps that are often treated separately:
- Mental health and everyday functioning
- Clinical care and real-world systems
- Education and implementation
- Research and practice
We take a practical, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approach, translating complex frameworks, such as legal, clinical, regulatory, or organizational, into usable, measurable, and sustainable tools.
Whether we are working with an individual client, a first responder, a clinical trainee, or a public-sector partner, our focus remains the same: help people make sense of what they’re facing and move forward with intention and confidence.
Who We Serve
- Individuals and families seeking counseling for stress, trauma, life transitions, substance use concerns, or relationship challenges
- First responders and healthcare professionals facing burnout, moral injury, and cumulative stress
- Organizations and agencies seeking program development, training, evaluation, or systems improvement
- Educational and public-sector partners navigating compliance, accreditation, and workforce development
Our services are designed to meet people where they are, while accounting for the systems they operate within.
